WHO WE ARE
The Essendon Theatre Company (ETC) is a local community-based theatre company located in inner-city Melbourne.
ETC has a long and proud history of producing quality community theatre in Essendon. It produces four productions per year including dramas, comedies and pantomimes. Since its formation in 1976, ETC has produced more than 150 productions.
ETC is a member of The Victorian Drama League (VDL) and submits one production annually as part of the VDL Awards. ETC is run on the love and commitment of passionate theatre lovers and volunteers dedicated to amateur theatre, and runs from the Bradshaw Street Community Hall in Essendon.
OUR COMMITTEE
Our Committee members are dedicated to providing genuine opportunities for all members of the community to come together and participate in the magic of theatre. Our guiding principles of people, inclusivity, and innovation drive everything we do, ensuring that our productions truly reflect the richness and diversity of our community.
Committee members are selected at the beginning of each year at the Annual General Meeting, and meet monthly to help guide the direction of ETC and support all productions.
